The first time that I saw blue spirulina I sat for a full 5 minutes trying to decide what I was looking at. Was this bowl of deliciousness really made from something that nature provides? How is it possible that blue food could be made without the addition of chemical additives? The more I read and researched the more I realised that I had been having spirulina (the green kind that tastes a lot like grass) for a long long time when I could have been having this brilliant superfood. Fast forward a few years and I am a devoted blue food lover!
